About Us
SCP Performance Parts Warehouse was founded in 1986 by owner Steve Picou. Throughout the late 60’s and into the early 80’s Steve could be found behind the wheel and tuning alcohol and top fuel dragsters throughout the country. With the overwhelming time demands of operating his own racing operation, Steve retired from drag racing just prior to opening SCP Performance Parts Warehouse in 1985. Today Steve and his son Stephen operate a very successful multi-car open wheel modified operation. They can be found competing in USRA, USMTS, UMP and IMCA events throughout the Midwest. Both Steve and Stephen are degreed engineers and have vast knowledge of many forms of motorsports.
SCP Performance Parts Warehouse operates out of a 10,000 square foot facility and offers a full line of circle track, drag race, and street rod components. We also have an in house, state of the art, machine shop for all of your racing engine needs. All of the employees at SCP are all involved in different forms of motorsports allowing us to offer you the utmost experience in all aspects of the racing industry.
